This is your basic gravel lot with full hookups, NO table, fire pit, or shade. It is convenient to I-24 but so close that it does have some road noise. It was OK for a one-night-stand. I'd probably try something different the next time through.

Great park with a convenient location. Make sure you visit the Historic Fish Hatchery across the street. It's really enjoyable. The only thing keeping it from being a "10" is that some sites limit the ability to back a larger trailer into.

This Jackson County park sits on a knoll with a nice breeze only a couple miles from the I-470 & I-70. The campground is quiet and fairly new. The gravel sites have a picnic table, fire ring, and E/W/S. Very convenient to Kansas City and I-70. The lake is beautiful and they have a beach if you have the time and inclination. More shade trees and a lake view would make it a 10.

Staff was not overly friendly. The park was just a smidge better than average, just a few short miles from I-70 ramp. Several good places to eat at the I-70 exchange.

Friendly staff, clean, attractive, and the hot tub (spa) was hot & refreshing. Great place to use as a jump-off point for US 30 waterfalls tour and downtown Portland. The only negatives: too many sites, a little crowded, and not enough trees for me.

Advertised as having a spa (hot tubs). Obviously, they have not had the hot tubs working for years, if ever. This place is 18 miles off I-80 and not worth the drive. I normally don't post, but this one really got my goat. The park was in an open field with no shade, not very attractive or welcoming. Don't waste your time or money. Head further on down the road.

Way over priced for what you get. Before I pulled in I expected a really nice place for the price. When I arrived, the place reminded me of a bad "drive-in movie" theater. I would never stay here again. We did find a nice laundramat located behind the Best Western Motel.

Staff was very accomodating and friendly. Sites were spacious and shaded. The lake was beautiful and the sites clean and well maintained. We would definitely return when in the area.

Very nice park. Excellent shade and spacious, well maintained sites. Great jump-off point for the US 30 waterfalls that start less than a mile down the road. There is some distant road and train noise that was somewhat annoying or I would have rated it even higher.

Very nice place in a very nice little town. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The place was immaculately clean and maintained. It is one of the nicest parks we have ever stayed in. We would definitely return.
